Double11 studio will be developing Little Big Planet on the PSVita
Jun 27th

Little Big Planet was one of the, if not the biggest announcement for the Playstation Vita at this years E3. In our eyes, it did the most to show off the true capabilities of all the features on the Vita, and had spectacular gameplay.

We now know that Double11 is to thank for that. The studio which was formed in 2010 is fairly new, but already has over 30 members on their staff. It was started by two ex-Rockstar employees, so you should expect great things from them.
PS Vita rear touch panel was almost left out
Jun 23rd

The PlayStation Vita has a pretty heft list of new features, but the one that really stood out for me was the the rear touch pad. It is basically just a very sensitive touchpad on the back of the PSVita, directly opposite of the screen on the front. You will be able to interact with games using this touchpad, and probably much more.
Sony initially rejected the idea and was going to scrap that feature from the Vita because they feared it would be too costly, and wouldn’t benefit gameplay all that much. All of that changed however once people actually got to try this unique new feature, and loved it.
Personally, I can’t wait to see what kind of neat things this feature will unlock.
Ruin Gameplay
Jun 7th
Ruin is an action based role playing game. The goal with Ruin was to provide the Playstation Vita players with everything they would expect from an action role playing game, including multiple character classes, deep advancement, tons of loot, and a lot of experiences that you might not associate with your typical RPG’s.
To do this, it all started with combat. To make combat more impactful, they created a dynamic battlefield. The player attacks through a series of combos. These are very action oriented sequences that really test your reflexes. It won’t just be pushing the x button over and over. The players powerful abilities destroy monsters, and environments alike. It’s a very engaging experience on the Playstation Vita.
Forging a competitive connection between the players was very important, so in Ruin other players are your rivals. A stranger you have never met can become your Rival, and through your actions you can help, hinder, or even harm them. All of this will be posted through the Playstation network, and stored in a cloud. All of this will also be integrated with all the popular social networks, like Facebook and Twitter.
